Zlatni Rat – the most famous beach of Croatia

The beach is called Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), near the village of Bol and it is an authentic natural wonder. The Zlatni Rat beach on Brac is a long, thin strip of sand and thin pebbles, a vast, golden shingle sandbar that eagerly moves towards the sea for almost five hundred meters.

The funny thing is that the beach has a daily unique shape and position, which changes the next day because of the sea tides and wind.

The centuries-old pines grow along the lines and paths, squeezed between the blocks of houses and set on the edges of the beaches. The summer heat is cooled in the early afternoon by the gentle western breeze, the maestral.
