Nudist Beaches in Central Dalmatia – ISLAND ONLY
One thing I like the most about naturist beaches and resorts on Croatian islands, and likewise on whole Croatia’s shoreline, is that there are not only official naturist camps and beaches – you can find them practically everywhere. The same situation is on the islands of Central Dalmatia – sheltered and out of site – can you imagine anything better or more attractive for your vacation?
The island of Brac
Besides the world prominent beach ZlatiRat, you can find a lots of other sandy and pebble beaches in nearby coves on the island of Brac.
PAKLINA FKK
West from the ZlatiRat beach is located one of the most famous nudist beaches Paklina. This beach has its naturist and textile section and both are very well visited during the season. FKK part is covered in small pebbles and if you try going a bit more to the west, you’ll find several lovely rocky inlets to enjoy your privacy.
You can also find some other nudist beaches on the eastern coast of the island of Brac. Although they are not official, be sure you’ll adore them. It is because they offer you that pleasant and fulfilling sense of freedom and enjoyment of a perfect peace.
MUTNIK
On the northern coast of the island of Brac are two villages – Positre and Sutivan. Between them you can find numerous little coves which are presented to you by its beautiful and incomparable natural made beaches. One of them is Mutnik in the neighbourhood of the village Mirca. You can come there by a car and you will see for yourself why they call it a tourist diamond.
The island of Hvar
JEROLIM
The island of Jerolim lies in a strait line with the city of Hvar. Jerolim nudist beach is famous beach with long tradition of naturism. It is well equipped with all essentially equipment the good beach should have – showers, shop and other. Little bit ahead are also some secluded places for you to enjoy your privacy and peace.
From Hvars harbour a boat regularly runs every day in half hour gaps among nine in the morning till one pm and back between fore and six pm.
You will also need a boat if you want to visit a group of little sandstone islands – Hell’s islands. They are positioned ahead of the south-western islands Hvar coast. Be sure that you want reach them with a large ship or a yacht – the islands currents are too strong and the openings between them are too shallow. Low forest and high grass cover this islands and their beaches are mostly small pebbled or sandy. The sea is crystal clean and swimming there or just being there is for real heavenly sensation. There you can dive, fish under water or just have a good swim. Even getting there by a small boat will live you with an especial experience.
STIPANSKA and MLIN
Those beaches are reserved especially for nudists, properly equipped with accompanying contents like obligatory showers, shop and bar. There you can get by a boat from the harbour on Hvar.
PALMIZANA
Palmizana is a beach with very long tradition of naturism. Season there lasts pretty long – from April till November. It is positioned south of the Hvar Island and it is a part of Paklina archipelago.
MILNA
This beach is positioned near by the little village Milna on the islands Hvar southern shore. It is really little village and very trendy spot for various excursions. Beaches there are all beautiful, there is couple of good places to eat and private accommodation is recommendable.
STARI GRAD
Tiha and Zavala Caves are representing StariGrad’s nudist offer. Those beaches are very pleasant and frequently visited. In spite of this fact, you can almost always find a bit place to lay your towel down and enjoy your solitariness and peace.
ZECEVO
Zecevo beach is placed on the island of Zecevo, about fifteen minutes by a taxi boat from the island of Hvar, more precisely – the city of Jelsa. It is not one of the best known, but when you visit this place, you will be glad that it is so! Small pebbled beach sheltered by pine trees is a perfect place for your peaceful vacation. For accommodation try Jelsa, private rooms, apartments or even hotels.
ZAVALA
Zavala beach is positioned right among two villages on the south of the island of Hvar – Zavala and Sv. Nedilja. Cosy and comfortable accommodation you can find in private apartments.
The island of Vis
RUDA
South east on the island of Vis is placed the village Rukavac. There are one of the most attractive beaches and among them Ruda naturist beach, which is in its bases clothes optional.
Well known ‘’green cave’’ is also situated there and presented to you by its uncontaminated nature and beauty.
In the area of Central Dalmatia the Makarska Riviera is also included. If you search there for a naturist beach, ask for SV.PETAR on a little peninsula in Makarskas centre.
On the east of Makarska, a bit before the city of Tucepi is nudist beach BRELA which is called also ‘’the pearl of Makarska riviera’’.
South of Makarska is nudist beaches NIMFA and DOLE. Dole also includes an auto-camp and it is the trendiest nudist beach in the region of Makarska. It is positioned between two little cities – Zivogosce and Igrane.
There is also a nudist beach BASKA VODA that is in fact clothes optional, but mainly used by nudist.
Those beaches are not all officially naturist ones, mostly don’t have FKK sign, but they are accepted by locals and recognised by naturists for a long time and I am sure they won’t leave you disappointed. Very well welcome!
