The position of Mali Losinj is in the Augusta Bay, which is the biggest closed bay of the archipelago of the island of Losinj. About 7,000 people live in this city, which is the biggest city of all among Croatian islands cities in general. The Island of Losinj has started its development already in 12th century when 12 Croatian families on the run from Mongols got there.
