HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO SUCH PLACE – ISLAND KRK!?

It is a beautiful sunny day, pleasant breeze is cooling my skin while I am having some sun on one of the most wonderful beaches I’ve ever been to.
Yes, I am on island Krk – again!


Krk is for me the liveliest island and so full of life that you can feel it in the air and sometimes almost even taste it. For couple of years Krk is my final destination for vacation and no doubt, it will be so for many years that follow. Every year Krk offers me something new, always interesting and for all time unforgettable.

Island Krk is the biggest island in the Adriatic Sea. Area of Krk consists 410 sq km and has population of about 16500 people. Do you know in how many places are those people living in? In 68 some smaller some a bit bigger places! Can you imagine?

I have visited at this time mostly bigger tourist places on Krk and some smaller, mostly by accident. Of course, island Krk offers a picture of tourist diversity, but that fact wasn’t primary to satisfy my expectations. Those accidents I’ve mentioned earlier become mine present primary destinations on Krk.

I used to drive around on Krk with a little scooter motor bike, this year I’ve replaced it with an ordinary pedal bike. Of course, I feel much better driving using my own power; gained a good physical shape and guess also that nature likes it best.

What more can I tell you about Krk, not to make you tired of reading? Oh, yes, I wanted to tell you about beaches on island Krk. Do you know I have never yet gone swimming twice on the same beach on Krk. Really, by bike you can go almost everywhere and search for unsearchable to enrich your body and mind.
