Camping on the island of Pag - camp Tomi - Povljana





There are two options how you can come to the island of Pag. You can take a ferry on route Prizna Zigljen or you can get to it by crossing the bridge. When you get there you can look for some nice camping place and I recommend the camp Tomi. If you do not like it, be sure to continue searching because on the island of Pag there are many fine camps.

Camp Tomi Povljana
Tomi camp is to be found in the close vicinity to the sea. Angled beach is very suitable for no-swimmers or for families with small children. The very camp is surrounded by the grove of trees and gives you a feeling of emotional warmth. Camp Tomi offers good toilet equipment (shower-baths, WC).

Staying in this camp you can count on having everything very close to your accommodation. Namely, you have one sandy beach about 250 meters far from the camp and a gravel beach just about 150 meters far.

Povljana

City centre is also pretty close – just about 800 meters from the camp. Heeling mud you can find in a bay just 500 meters far from the camp Tomi.
In the camp Tomi you can also leave your mobile home, boat or a caravan in a service of keeping during the winter period.

As for the sports activities in this camp you can rent various sports equipment, play table tennis, soft tennis, badminton, rent a bike and so on.
In the close vicinity to the cam there are some courts for some additional sport activities as beach volley-ball, basket-ball and tennis.
Often there are some hiking expeditions organised as well as various cycling routes. In the city of Pag you can also get an opportunity for sea diving, but it is about 10 kilometres far from the city of Povljana.
In the very city of Povljana one can go developing his taste in traditional Mediterranean food by visiting some of local restaurants. You can stop in one among many coffee bars and listen to some live music or just take a stroll along the promenade.
