Camping on the island of Korcula – auto camp Kalac and camp Mindel
On the island of Korcula there are two great camps – auto camp Kalac and camp Mindel. Both are ranked by three stars in quality and are very pleasant for spending your vacation. Now I will also give you few reasons why.
Auto camp Kalac is placed in close up to the city of Korčula, more precise in ‘Bay of shells’, 3 kilometres from the old town. It stretches on 15 thousand square metres among pine and olive trees. It has a place for 120 camping units and it has 230 arranged plots.
It has two sanitary blocks with warm and cold showers, places for washing dishes, electrical connections, refrigerators. Beaches in the camp Kalac are rocky, gravely, sandy, and with baton platforms. Contents in the campsite include parching area, kiosk, grocery shop, restaurant, bars. One bar is also on a sandy beach, there is a self-service shop within the camp area including a snack bar and a pizzeria, exchange office, possibility of payment with credit cards, children’ s playground at your disposal and so on. For sport and recreation guest can use mini-golf, tennis-court, table tennis and a diving centre. There are also facilities where you can rent a bike, rowing boat or motor boat, deck chairs and sunshades too. There are also spaces for boats of boat owners. In this auto camp dogs are also welcomed.

Camp Mindel is one more quality camp to be found on the island Korcula. It is situated about 5 kilometres west from the gorgeous city of Vela Luka. It stretches on 10 thousand square metres enclosed by tender bays and natural beaches.
In shade of olive and almond made flora there is a space for 100 arranged plots and 120 camping units.
Camp Mindel includes electricity sources for your camping trailer or caravan, inevitable sanitary blocks with showers (warm and cold water), places for dish washing and laundry washing. Extra helpful approach is grocery shopping service for all camps visitors. Contents in campsite include also an internet approach, parching area, telephone connections. Dogs are also allowed and there are even some dog showers for your precious pet.
Guests who like sport and recreation have free use of tennis court, badminton, table tennis and bowling field as well as accessible grounds for jogging, bicycling or long walks outdoors.
Gravel and rocky beaches with baton platforms are 10 (the nearest) to 20 (the most distant) minutes of walking distance.
All beaches are easily reachable by car, bicycle or motorcycle.
For boat owners, there are bays with binds for fastening their possession.
There is also a diving centre in the city of Vela Luka.
